Introduction: On the sunny morning of July 6th, 2024, the assembly ground of our school buzzed with excitement as students from classes VI to VIII gathered for the much-anticipated Inter-House Just a Minute (JAM) competition. A DIY Activity on designing a newspaper video presentation

The presentation covered the various sections and elements involved in designing a newspaper, providing an insightful overview of the structure and layout that make up a well-crafted publication. Key areas discussed included the front page, headlines, subheadings, bylines, and sections dedicated to news, features, and editorials. Visual elements such as photographs, captions, and infographics were highlighted for their role in enhancing reader engagement. The presentation also explored the importance of typography, spacing, and column design in creating a clear and readable format, offering a comprehensive guide to the intricate process of newspaper design.

At the APS ASC C & C Library, club students immerse themselves in a wide variety of reading materials, including magazines, journals, and novels. This quiet and inviting space provides them with the perfect environment to expand their knowledge, explore new ideas, and develop a deeper appreciation for literature. Whether diving into the latest issue of a magazine, conducting research through academic journals, or getting lost in the pages of a compelling novel, the students find the library to be an invaluable resource for both learning and leisure.

Physical Fitness
Date: 04th November 2023
Objective: The primary objective of this activity was to inspire , motivate and develop interest in students to consider a career in the Armed Forces.
Key Features:
Physical training was done under the super vision of a PT instructor. He explained the students the importance of physical tanning, importance of each and every obstacle and the technique of negotiating the obstacles.
Students enjoyed the session, learnt valuable lesson of being confident and following the instructions and believing in themselves.
Highlights:
The students had the warm up run.
They were given instructions and given the demo of how to go about the obstacles.
The following obstacles were tried by the students.
1. Balancing beam
2. Zig-zag balancing beam
3. 2 and three feet high jump over a beam.
4. Monkey bar
Objective: The primary objective of this activity was to inspire , motivate and develop interest in students to consider a career in the Armed Forces.

WAT (Word Association Test)
Date: 09th September 2023
Objective: The primary objective of the activity was to introduce the students with the various screening tests that they would have to go through during their SSB.
Key Features: WAT (Word Association Test) is a part of psychology tests conducted on the second day of a five-day SSB Interview process. WAT is a unique psychological test that assesses two parameters of the SSB candidate i.e., Mansa (Mind) and Karmana (Actions). Both Parameters are assessed through responses given by candidates. In the WAT, candidates have to give their responses of 60 words. Based on the responses of candidates, their personality is assessed by psychologists.
Process of WAT
In WAT, a word is flashed and candidates have to write their responses in 15 seconds. One by one 60 WAT words are shown, and candidates have to write their responses for as many words as possible.
The students were given 15 words and had to write their responses and they were asked to read their responses. Based on their responses they were given feedback on how they can improve.

Night Photography and Astrophotography
