The event aimed to enhance creativity, expression, and confidence among learners. Report on Veer Gatha 5.0 PPT Making Competition Classes IX to XII
As part of the Veer Gatha Project 5.0, our school organized a PowerPoint Presentation (PPT) Competition for students of Classes IX to XII. Students prepared and presented informative PPTs highlighting the acts of valour, courage, and selfless service of Indias Gallantry Award winners. The competition encouraged students to research real life heroes who have dedicated their lives to protecting the nation. Each presentation was evaluated on content accuracy, design, creativity, and presentation skills. Students showcased commendable enthusiasm, research, and patriotic fervor. The best three entries were uploaded on the Veer Gatha portal for further evaluation at the regional level. The activity successfully strengthened students sense of national pride and appreciation for Indias brave soldiers




Report on Veer Gatha 5.0 Storytelling Competition Classes VI to VIII






Under the Veer Gatha Project 5.0, initiated by the Ministry of Defence and CBSE, an Interhouse Storytelling Competition was held for students of Classes VI to VIII. The competition aimed to make students aware of the sacrifices and bravery of Indias Gallantry Award winners and to instill patriotism and gratitude towards the armed forces. Students narrated inspiring tales of bravery through stories, poems, enactments, and creative presentations in English and Hindi. Their performances reflected deep respect for the Param Vir Chakra, Mahavir Chakra, and other gallantry awardees. The best entries were shortlisted and submitted on the Veer Gatha portal for regional evaluation. The event fostered a sense of pride, courage, and national devotion among the young learners.
Report on CBSE CVC Essay Writing Competition Classes IX toXII
Essay Writing Competition for students of Classes IX to XII on the theme Vigilance Our Shared Responsibility. The activity was organized to mark Vigilance Awareness Week and aimed to promote integrity, transparency, and ethical responsibility among students. Participants expressed their ideas creatively in both English and Hindi, within a word limit of 500 to 600 words, under the supervision of teachers. The essays were evaluated for originality, clarity, and relevance to the theme. The competition inspired students to realize that vigilance and honesty are essential for a corruption free society.




Har Ghar Tiranga Flag Hoisting , Cultural Celebrations and Prize Distribution







On 15th August, the school came together for the flag hoisting ceremony, which was carried out with full respect and honour. The National Anthem was sung with pride as the tricolour unfurled. The celebrations continued with cultural performances, including patriotic songs and dances, showcasing the rich heritage and unity of India. Vidyanjali students were awarded for academic excellence, adding to the joy of the event.
Har Ghar Tiranga Ralley
As part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations and the nationwide campaign Har Ghar Tiranga, our school organized a Patriotic Rally to encourage citizens to hoist the National Flag with pride and unity. Students, holding the Tiranga and chanting patriotic slogans such as Vande Mataram and Bharat Mata Ki Jai, marched through the nearby streets spreading the message of national pride, respect for the flag, and collective responsibility. Teachers, NCC cadets, and Scouts and Guides also joined the rally, ensuring discipline and coordination. The event drew the attention of local residents, who appreciated the students spirited participation. The rally concluded with the National Anthem in the school premises, instilling a deep sense of patriotism and unity among all participants. The activity successfully promoted the message Har Ghar Tiranga, Har Dil Mein Deshbhakti.




Rangoli Making Competition


An Inter House Competition was organized in the school as part of co-curricular activities to promote team spirit, creativity, and healthy competition among students. Participants from all four houses Sarojini, Shivaji, Bose, and Patel showcased their talents and enthusiasm. The event witnessed active participation from students across all classes. Each team put forth their best effort, displaying confidence, cooperation, and sportsmanship. The competition was judged on the basis of content, presentation, creativity, and overall impact. The atmosphere was charged with excitement and encouragement as students cheered for their respective houses. The judges appreciated the participants for their preparation and confidence. At the end of the event, the results were announced, and the Patel House was declared the winner. Certificates were awarded to the winners and participants.
Letters to Soldiers
As part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, our school organized a heart warming activity titled Letters to Soldiers for students of Classes VI to XII. The objective of the activity was to express gratitude, respect, and affection towards the brave soldiers of the Indian Armed Forces who guard our nations borders under challenging conditions. Students wrote handwritten letters and creative messages expressing their heartfelt appreciation for the soldiers courage, discipline, and sacrifice. Many letters included poems, drawings of the national flag, and patriotic slogans. Selected letters were compiled and displayed on the school bulletin board, while some were sent to the nearest Army Postal service through the school administration. The soldiers messages of thanks deeply inspired the students. The activity helped inculcate patriotism, empathy, and emotional connection with the defenders of the nation, reminding everyone that our freedom is protected through their selfless service.



CBSE EXPRESSION SERIES




Army Public School ASC Centre and College enthusiastically conducted the 1st CBSE Expression Series for the academic session 2025 26 on 2nd August 2025. The event was held in accordance with the guidelines issued by the CBSE on the theme Competency Focused Education. Middle Stage Classes 6 to 8 Essay on the topic My learning adventure Everyday something new. Secondary Stage Phase 1 Classes 9 to 10 Essay on the topic Competency means more than marks.
Human Chain
In a truly moving display of unity, the students and teachers of Classes 8 and 9 came together to form a Human Chain across the school grounds. With hands clasped, they stood shoulder to shoulder, symbolising the bond of responsibility and the strength of collective action. The act of holding hands was more than a gesture and the shared commitment of the school community towards the noble mission of cleanliness. Adding to the impact of the moment were the colourful posters and placards proudly displayed by the participants.

For classes 8th to 12th. A special highlight of the day was the Cleaning Campaign by NCC Cadets. The cadets, demonstrating discipline and responsibility, actively cleaned the school premises and surrounding areas. Before beginning their cleaning drive, the NCC cadets solemnly took the Swachatha Pledge, reaffirming their commitment to lead by promoting cleanliness. Their spirited participation inspired the entire school community
Slogan making, poster making, placard making activity
As part of the Swachhata celebrations, the students of Classes 6th and 7th, enthusiastically participated in Swachhotsav, a colourful and vibrant display of creativity and awareness. The event included Slogan Writing, Poster Making, and Placard Designing activities, each created to highlight the significance of hygiene, waste segregation, and the maintenance of clean surroundings. The young artists, armed with brushes, markers, and vivid imaginations, transformed sheets of paper into powerful canvases of change. Their posters sparkled with vibrant hues depicting clean rivers, green parks, dustbins labelled for segregation, and the vision of a pollution free India.





Report on Swachhata Hi Sewa (SHS) Campaign 2025




In alignment with the nationwide mission of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and the CBSE directives, APS ASC C and C successfully organized the Swachhata Hi Sewa SHS Campaign 2025 from 24th to 26th September 2025. The campaign aimed at sensitizing students towards cleanliness, hygiene, and environmental responsibility while encouraging them to become proactive contributors to society. Day 1 - Swachhata Shapath Day, On 24th Sep 2025, for classes 1 to 12. The campaign commenced with a solemn and inspiring special assembly attended by all classes. In a spirit of unity and responsibility, students and teachers together raised their voices to take the Swachhata Shapath (Cleanliness Pledge). The resonant words of the pledge echoed through the campus, instilling a sense of pride, duty, and collective resolve. This powerful moment ignited in every member of the school community a renewed determination to uphold cleanliness not only at the personal level, but also within classrooms, corridors, playgrounds, and the larger society.
TALES OF WISDOM
The Interhouse Skit Competition for Classes 6 to 8 was held with great zeal and enthusiasm under the theme Tales of Wisdom ON 26TH July 2025. The event aimed to revive and celebrate the timeless stories of Mullah Nasruddin, Akbar-Birbal, and Tenali Raman, all known for their wit, intelligence, and moral insight. Each of the four houses Bose, Sarojini, Shivaji, and Patel presented a short skit based on one of these legendary characters. The stories came alive on stage with vibrant costumes, expressive acting, and well-rehearsed dialogue delivery. The event was a perfect blend of learning and laughter, and served as a reminder of the power of wisdom shared through stories.







ENGLISH DEBATE








The much-awaited Interhouse English Debate Competition for students of Classes 9 and 11 was held with great enthusiasm and participation. Topic given for the debate was, Privacy is a Myth in the Digital World. Participants passionately argued for and against the motion, bringing in diverse perspectives backed by current examples, statistics, and real-life implications of surveillance, data breaches, and digital footprints. Each participant was given 4 minutes to present their views, followed by interjections that challenged their stance, further enriching the quality of debate and encouraging critical thinking. The event successfully fostered public speaking skills, analytical thinking, and respectful discourse among students.
Essay and Poster Competitions
Co-curricular activities CCA were held in various classes, featuring essay and poster competitions. These events showcased students creativity, critical thinking, and communication skills, while also enhancing their presentation abilities.




Essay Writing Competition







As part of the MyGov initiative, an essay writing competition was organized on 28th June on the topic (Operation Sindoor Redefining Indias Policy Against Terrorism). The competition aimed to make students aware of Indias evolving and assertive stance against terrorism. Participants from classes 9th to 12th penned powerful essays, expressing their understanding of Indias strategic shift in dealing with terror threats. The essays reflected themes such as national security, counter terrorism operations, cross border defence, cyber warfare, and the pivotal role of intelligence agencies and armed forces. The best entries have been submitted on the MyGov platform, encouraging student engagement in national discussions.
DISPLAY BOARD COMPETITION
In anticipation of the upcoming Interclass Display Board Competition scheduled for 30th June, students of grades 6th to 12th actively began their preparations under the guidance of their class teacher and subject mentors. Creative minds took charge of designing colourful charts, drawings, and 3D elements to make the board visually appealing. Special attention was given to neatness, clarity, and message delivery. Such preparations not only enhance creativity and subject knowledge but also foster important life skills such as cooperation, planning, and time management.









HINDI DEBATE COMPETITION







An Inter house Hindi Debate Competition was organized on 21st June 2025 for the students of Classes 9 and 11 on 21st June, 2025. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation and showcased excellent oratory skills by the students. The topic of the debate was highly relevant and thought provoking. Participants were divided into two groups for and against the motion. The debate not only enhanced the students critical thinking and public speaking skills but also encouraged them to explore the implications of technology in modern life.
PAINTING COMPETITION






To encourage creative expression and celebrate the imaginative spirit of young learners, a painting competition was organized for the students of Class VI on the theme My Colourful Summer Vacation. A Season of Stories, Sunshine and Self Discovery. The competition provided students with an opportunity to reflect on their summer experiences and express their feelings through art. The best entries were selected based on creativity, originality, use of colour, and thematic relevance. These selected artworks have been sent as entries for the July edition of Sapno ki Udaan an e Magazine published by NCERT, which aims to showcase student talent at the national level.

Making Classroom utilities activity was conducted on 11th April for Class VI. The primary objective of this CCA (Co Curricular Activity) initiative was to engage students in creating practical classroom utilities. These included a chalk holder, marker holder, out passes (for boys and girls), duster holder, and a box for lost and found items. The activity aimed to enhance students creativity, responsibility, and teamwork while contributing to improving the classroom environment.

The Slogan Writing Competition was conducted for students of Class 6 on 9th April. The competition aimed to foster creativity, linguistic skills, and social awareness among young students. Through this event, students were encouraged to create impactful slogans that convey meaningful messages on various themes. The primary objective of the Slogan Writing Competition was to help students enhance their writing skills and creativity while instilling a sense of social responsibility. The competition also aimed to encourage students to think critically about important issues in society and communicate these issues in a concise and persuasive manner through slogans.

UN 80 and Indias leadership in building our future through multilateralism, global leadership, and stewardship. Each artwork highlighted Indias role in promoting peace global cooperation, and sustainable development. Selected entries were uploaded on MyGov portal for national-level evaluation, where the winning design may be issued as a postage stamp

BOOK READING ACTIVITY






Date: April 2, 2025.
The Book Reading Activity was organized for Class 9 students to foster a love for reading, enhance comprehension skills, and encourage critical thinking. The activity allowed students to explore the world of literature outside their textbooks, enabling them to discover new interests and perspectives. By incorporating different reading materials and encouraging students to share their insights, the event promoted a positive reading culture in the school.
CREATIVE WRITING COMPETITION

The Interclass Creative Writing Competition for Class 9 was held on April 1, 2025 as part of the school's ongoing efforts to promote creativity, self expression, and the development of writing skills. This competition aimed to encourage students to explore their imagination and hone their writing abilities in a competitive yet supportive environment.






KARGIL VIJAY DIVAS






On 26th July Saturday, Class 10 students participated in a Poster and Slogan Writing Competition on the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas. Students showcased their patriotism and creativity through powerful visuals and slogans, using sketching, colouring, and painting. The activity was a heartfelt tribute to the brave soldiers of the Kargil War.
Academic Excellence Awards Ceremony
The school organized a ceremony to recognize and reward the outstanding academic achievements of its 10th and 12th class students. Top-performing students were felicitated with awards and certificates, honouring their hard work and dedication. By celebrating their success, the school reinforced its commitment to nurturing talent and promoting excellence.
