The CBSE Story Telling Competition was conducted on 7th November in our school with enthusiastic participation from students of Classes 3 to 12. The event aimed to enhance creativity, expression, and confidence among learners. Students narrated a wide range of stories from folk tales and mythological narratives to inspirational and value based stories showcasing their imagination and communication skills.
Report on Veer Gatha 5.0 PPT Making Competition Classes IX to XII
As part of the Veer Gatha Project 5.0, our school organized a PowerPoint Presentation (PPT) Competition for students of Classes IX to XII. Students prepared and presented informative PPTs highlighting the acts of valour, courage, and selfless service of Indias Gallantry Award winners. The competition encouraged students to research real life heroes who have dedicated their lives to protecting the nation. Each presentation was evaluated on content accuracy, design, creativity, and presentation skills. Students showcased commendable enthusiasm, research, and patriotic fervor. The best three entries were uploaded on the Veer Gatha portal for further evaluation at the regional level. The activity successfully strengthened students sense of national pride and appreciation for Indias brave soldiers




Report on CBSE CVC Essay Writing Competition Classes IX to XII




Essay Writing Competition for students of Classes IX to XII on the theme Vigilance Our Shared Responsibility. The activity was organized to mark Vigilance Awareness Week and aimed to promote integrity, transparency, and ethical responsibility among students. Participants expressed their ideas creatively in both English and Hindi, within a word limit of 500 to 600 words, under the supervision of teachers. The essays were evaluated for originality, clarity, and relevance to the theme. The competition inspired students to realize that vigilance and honesty are essential for a corruption free society.
Har Ghar Tiranga Ralley
As part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations and the nationwide campaign Har Ghar Tiranga, our school organized a Patriotic Rally to encourage citizens to hoist the National Flag with pride and unity. Students, holding the Tiranga and chanting patriotic slogans such as Vande Mataram and Bharat Mata Ki Jai, marched through the nearby streets spreading the message of national pride, respect for the flag, and collective responsibility. Teachers, NCC cadets, and Scouts and Guides also joined the rally, ensuring discipline and coordination. The event drew the attention of local residents, who appreciated the students spirited participation. The rally concluded with the National Anthem in the school premises, instilling a deep sense of patriotism and unity among all participants. The activity successfully promoted the message Har Ghar Tiranga, Har Dil Mein Deshbhakti.




Rangoli Making Competition


An Inter House Competition was organized in the school as part of co-curricular activities to promote team spirit, creativity, and healthy competition among students. Participants from all four houses Sarojini, Shivaji, Bose, and Patel showcased their talents and enthusiasm. The event witnessed active participation from students across all classes. Each team put forth their best effort, displaying confidence, cooperation, and sportsmanship. The competition was judged on the basis of content, presentation, creativity, and overall impact. The atmosphere was charged with excitement and encouragement as students cheered for their respective houses. The judges appreciated the participants for their preparation and confidence. At the end of the event, the results were announced, and the Patel House was declared the winner. Certificates were awarded to the winners and participants.
Selfie Uploading
In tune with the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, students took selfies with the national flag, symbolizing their commitment to the nation and its ideals. These moments were a part of the larger Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, celebrating 78 years of Indias independence. The event concluded with the distribution of sweets, and the entire school community was filled with a sense of joy, pride, and national spirit.






Letters to Soldiers



As part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, our school organized a heart warming activity titled Letters to Soldiers for students of Classes VI to XII. The objective of the activity was to express gratitude, respect, and affection towards the brave soldiers of the Indian Armed Forces who guard our nations borders under challenging conditions. Students wrote handwritten letters and creative messages expressing their heartfelt appreciation for the soldiers courage, discipline, and sacrifice. Many letters included poems, drawings of the national flag, and patriotic slogans. Selected letters were compiled and displayed on the school bulletin board, while some were sent to the nearest Army Postal service through the school administration. The soldiers messages of thanks deeply inspired the students. The activity helped inculcate patriotism, empathy, and emotional connection with the defenders of the nation, reminding everyone that our freedom is protected through their selfless service.
CBSE EXPRESSION SERIES
Army Public School ASC Centre and College enthusiastically conducted the 1st CBSE Expression Series for the academic session 2025 26 on 2nd August 2025. The event was held in accordance with the guidelines issued by the CBSE on the theme Competency Focused Education. Secondary Stage Phase 2 Classes 11 to 12 Essay on the topic Beyond Exams How competencies shape careers. The best entries from each category one per class group were shortlisted after internal evaluation by a panel of teachers and uploaded via the CBSE Expression Series Android App as per the boards instructions. These entries are now under consideration for recognition at the Regional and National levels, with the best submissions to be featured on the official CBSE website. The event proved to be a meaningful platform for nurturing student voice and creativity aligned with the goals of the National Education Policy.


REEL MAKING COMPETITION




On 26th June 2025, Army Public School ASC Centre and College, organized an educational trip to Bangalore Palace for Classes 11 and 12 C and D as part of the MyGov Reel Competition Walk to the Monuments or Sites of Indian Independence. A total of 59 students, accompanied by teachers Mr. Cyriac Thomas and Mrs.Sajitha, explored the palaces historical and architectural grandeur. The guided tour provided insights into the Wodeyar dynasty and the significance of preserving cultural heritage. Students also participated in the reel competition, recording videos showcasing the monuments heritage and their reflections in the palace garden. The visit was both educational and inspiring, giving
Cleanliness campaign by NCC cadets
A special highlight of the day was the Cleaning Campaign by NCC Cadets. The cadets, demonstrating discipline and responsibility, actively cleaned the school premises and surrounding areas. Before beginning their cleaning drive, the NCC cadets solemnly took the Swachhata Pledge, their commitment to lead by example in promoting cleanliness. Their spirited participation inspired the entire school community.






Report on Swachhata Hi Sewa (SHS) Campaign 2025




In alignment with the nationwide mission of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and the CBSE directives, APS ASC C and C successfully organized the Swachhata Hi Sewa SHS Campaign 2025 from 24th to 26th September 2025. The campaign aimed at sensitizing students towards cleanliness, hygiene, and environmental responsibility while encouraging them to become proactive contributors to society. Day 1 - Swachhata Shapath Day, On 24th Sep 2025, for classes 1 to 12. The campaign commenced with a solemn and inspiring special assembly attended by all classes. In a spirit of unity and responsibility, students and teachers together raised their voices to take the Swachhata Shapath (Cleanliness Pledge). The resonant words of the pledge echoed through the campus, instilling a sense of pride, duty, and collective resolve. This powerful moment ignited in every member of the school community a renewed determination to uphold cleanliness not only at the personal level, but also within classrooms, corridors, playgrounds, and the larger society.
ENGLISH DEBATE
The much-awaited Interhouse English Debate Competition for students of Classes 9 and 11 was held with great enthusiasm and participation. Topic given for the debate was, Privacy is a Myth in the Digital World. Participants passionately argued for and against the motion, bringing in diverse perspectives backed by current examples, statistics, and real-life implications of surveillance, data breaches, and digital footprints. Each participant was given 4 minutes to present their views, followed by interjections that challenged their stance, further enriching the quality of debate and encouraging critical thinking. The event successfully fostered public speaking skills, analytical thinking, and respectful discourse among students.








Investiture Ceremony





Student leaders were formally inducted into their roles through a swearing-in ceremony. House captains, sports captains, and prefects from the four houses - Sarojini Yellow, Bose Blue, Patel Green, and Shivaji Red - took their oaths, marking the beginning of their leadership tenure.

Essay Writing Competition







As part of the MyGov initiative, an essay writing competition was organized on 28th June on the topic (Operation Sindoor Redefining Indias Policy Against Terrorism). The competition aimed to make students aware of Indias evolving and assertive stance against terrorism. Participants from classes 9th to 12th penned powerful essays, expressing their understanding of Indias strategic shift in dealing with terror threats. The essays reflected themes such as national security, counter terrorism operations, cross border defence, cyber warfare, and the pivotal role of intelligence agencies and armed forces. The best entries have been submitted on the MyGov platform, encouraging student engagement in national discussions.
DISPLAY BOARD COMPETITION
In anticipation of the upcoming Interclass Display Board Competition scheduled for 30th June, students of grades 6th to 12th actively began their preparations under the guidance of their class teacher and subject mentors. Creative minds took charge of designing colourful charts, drawings, and 3D elements to make the board visually appealing. Special attention was given to neatness, clarity, and message delivery. Such preparations not only enhance creativity and subject knowledge but also foster important life skills such as cooperation, planning, and time management.









HINDI DEBATE COMPETITION







An Inter house Hindi Debate Competition was organized on 21st June 2025 for the students of Classes 9 and 11 on 21st June, 2025. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation and showcased excellent oratory skills by the students. The topic of the debate was highly relevant and thought provoking. Participants were divided into two groups for and against the motion. The debate not only enhanced the students critical thinking and public speaking skills but also encouraged them to explore the implications of technology in modern life.
DAY 2: GREEN SCHOOL DRIVE DAY








On 25th Sep, The day began on an energetic and thought provoking note with a Nukkad Natak. Street Play was presented during the morning assembly by the talented students of Class 11. The performance, brimming with humour, wit, and impactful dialogues, became an instant crowd puller as it blended entertainment with a strong social message. The performers not only captured the audience attention but also stirred their conscience, reminding them that Cleanliness is not someone else duty, but our collective responsibility. The enthusiastic response of the audience, marked by repeated applause and cheers, reflected how effectively the message had been conveyed.
Academic Excellence Awards Ceremony






The school organized a ceremony to recognize and reward the outstanding academic achievements of its 10th and 12th class students. Top-performing students were felicitated with awards and certificates, honouring their hard work and dedication. By celebrating their success, the school reinforced its commitment to nurturing talent and promoting excellence.
