NURSERY - CELEBRATION



Makar Sankranti was celebrated on 13 January 2026 with great enthusiasm. The stage was beautifully decorated by the teachers, capturing the true essence of the festival. The celebration began with the teacher explaining the significance of Makar Sankranti, followed by a short enactment by the children of Balvatika 1. Through their performance, the children highlighted Makar Sankranti as a harvest festival, expressing deep gratitude to the Sun God and offering heartfelt thanks to the farmers and the oxen, whose hard work nourishes our lives. This was followed by a delightful fusion dance performed by the children of Balvatika 1, which added vibrancy and joy to the celebration. The event concluded with Kite Making Activity by the children of Balvatika 1, 2 and 3, making the celebration memorable and joyful.
Dussehra Celebration 2025
The students of PPW celebrated Dussehra with great enthusiasm and festive spirit. A special assembly, gracefully presented by the Balvatika-3 children, added grandeur to the occasion. The little ones of Balvatika-1, 2 and 3 participated in fun-filled activities that brought cheer and excitement to the day. Dressed in vibrant festive attire, the children made the celebration colourful and truly memorable. The celebration also reminded everyone of the eternal message of Dussehra, the victory of good over evil, truth over falsehood, and virtue over vice. Through stories, songs, and activities, the children learned the importance of walking the path of honesty, kindness, and righteousness in their everyday lives. The entire atmosphere was filled with joy, devotion, and togetherness, beautifully reflecting the true essence of Dussehra.




Ganesh Chaturthi Celebrations






Ganesh Chaturthi Celebrations was celebrated on 25th of August 2025 with great enthusiasm. The stage was beautifully decorated by the Teachers. Capturing the essence of the festival. Our tiny tots at the Pre Primary Wing filled the day with devotion and joy. Balvatika I students enacted the story of how Lord Ganesha was formed and became the son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati.
Balvatika III children presented a graceful dance on Ganesh Vandana.
The celebration ended with all students singing and clapping in perfect harmony to Ganesh Vandana
The festive spirit and innocence of our little ones truly made the day divine and memorable.

Raksha Bandhan was celebrated on 7th August 2025 with great enthusiasm. The stage was beautifully decorated by the teachers, capturing the essence of the festival. This was followed by a delightful Hindi action song performed by the children of Balvatika 2. To mark the occasion, a few children came forward to tie rakhis, symbolizing the bond of love and protection. The celebration also emphasized that this sacred bond goes beyond siblings, encouraging children to tie rakhis to friends, parents and even teachers, promoting love, respect and unity among all. The event concluded with rakhi making activities by the children of Balvatika 1, 2 and 3.

The event begins with the hoisting of the national flag, followed by singing the national anthem. Children participate in various cultural programs such as patriotic songs, dances, and skits that highlight the struggle for freedom and the significance of independence. A storytelling session on the lives of freedom fighters inspires young minds with their sacrifices and values
International Yoga Day
International Yoga Day is celebrated with enthusiasm to introduce children to the benefits of yoga for physical and mental well-being. The session begins with a brief explanation of yogas importance, followed by simple breathing exercises to help children relax and focus. They then practice basic yoga poses like the Tree Pose, Butterfly Pose, and Mountain Pose, designed to improve flexibility, balance, and concentration.

Dressed in vibrant costumes representing Indias legendary freedom fighters, the tiny tots brought history to life with spirited enactments and resounding slogans such as Inquilab Zindabad and You give me blood, I will give you freedom. Their performances paid tribute not only to eminent leaders like Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, and Mahatma Gandhi, but also to the countless unsung heroes whose sacrifices paved the way for our nations freedom. The programme featured energetic dance performances on Jai Ho and Rangila Desh Rangila Mera, a poignant skit depicting the Quit India Movement, and heartfelt recitations of patriotic poems. Each act reflected the childrens enthusiasm, creativity, and deep respect for the nations heritage. The celebration concluded with the rendition of the National Anthem, a moment that filled every heart with pride, gratitude, and renewed commitment towards our great nation.

Highlights of the celebration include a lively Dahi Handi event where children recreate Krishnas playful act of breaking the pot of butter and a special storytelling session that narrates his divine deeds. Traditional songs and dances add to the festive spirit, encouraging children to learn about cultural heritage and values like devotion, love, and kindness. The event concludes with the distribution of prasadam, leaving everyone with cherished memories and a sense of spiritual joy.

The event began by the teacher narrating the story of Lord Ramas victory over Ravan, explaining the symbolism of good triumphing over evil. Our Balvatika 3 students brought the story of Dussehra showcasing the battle between good over evil depicting the Ramayana story- Ravans roar silenced, Ramas victory declared. Followed by an energetic and colorful dance performance likely added a vibrant and energetic touch to the celebration. The event concluded with Ravan mask making activity by the children of preprimary wing. The Dussehra celebration was filled with joy and a sense of community.
